Responsibilities:

  1. Blueprint Interpretation:
    • Reading Plans: Study blueprints and technical drawings to understand pipe layouts and installation specifications.
    • Measuring and Marking: Accurately measure and mark pipe locations based on the drawings.
  2. Pipe Installation:
    • Cutting and Fitting: Cut pipes to the required lengths and fit them together using techniques like welding, soldering, or mechanical joints.
    • Supporting Structures: Install supports, hangers, and brackets to secure pipes in place.
  3. System Assembly:
    • Joining Pipes: Assemble piping systems by connecting various pipe sections and components.
    • Testing: Perform pressure tests and other checks to ensure the system is leak-proof and functions correctly.
  4. Maintenance and Repair:
    • Troubleshooting: Identify and diagnose issues with existing piping systems.
    • Repairs: Replace damaged sections, tighten joints, and make necessary adjustments to restore system functionality.
